Thermal Cycle Test:Conducted in accordance with the IEC 61215:2005 standard, this test assesses the resilience of photovoltaic (PV) modules to temperature fluctuations. The modules are subjected to rapid shifts between 85°C and -40°C, with the test cycle repeated either 50 or 200 times to ensure their durability under thermal stress.
Humidity Freeze Test:Designed to evaluate the capacity of PV modules to endure alternating high-temperature and high-humidity conditions followed by freezing temperatures, this test involves a sequence of 10 cycles. Each cycle transitions from a state of 85°C with 85% relative humidity to a sub-zero temperature of -40°C, simulating extreme weather conditions.
Damp Heat Test:This test is aimed at gauging the effects of prolonged exposure to humidity and high temperatures on PV modules. It involves maintaining a constant temperature of 85°C ±2°C along with a relative humidity of 85% for a continuous period of 1000 hours, thereby testing the module’s resistance to long-term damp heat conditions.
